The bottom line
Germania Farm Mutual Insurance Association (more popularly known as Germania) has been providing insurance to Texans for more than a century. Germania is one of the top five cheapest car insurance companies in Texas and a popular option for Texas drivers.
Germania has lower-than-average auto insurance rates, but it doesn’t offer very many types of car insurance. You can get the basics, like liability as well as comprehensive and collision coverage, but Germania only offers a few additional types of auto coverage add-ons, including roadside assistance and RV coverage.
It does not offer many of the more popular endorsements available at some other car insurance companies, like gap coverage, rideshare coverage, or rental car coverage.
Despite its limited coverage options, Germania is still a good choice for drivers who need low rates and plenty of discounts.
