V1 and D1 had a verbal argument. The argument became physical when D1 blocked the doorway, preventing V1 from leaving, and then bear hugged him.

Due to the bear hug, D1 scratched V1 on his neck and abdomen. D1 denied all allegations. D1 was arrested for false imprisonment and simple battery. Director Quann was notified due to children being present in the residence.

V1 is a dancer at Soft Tails. At approximately midnight, V1 gave S1 a private dance. While in the private room, S1 pushed V1 down onto the sofa, placed his hand around her neck, and attempted to sexually batter her.

V1 prevented S1 from sexually battering her by covering herself with her hand. Shortly after, the bouncer entered the room while hearing a commotion; S1 and V1 were separated and S1 was escorted out of the building.

CID and the watch commander were notified. Case status: Active to CID.

V1 was found deceased inside his travel trailer. V1 was last alive on 06-30-2024 at approximately 0700 hours.

After V1's father could not get hold of his son, he went to the property to check on him. V1 was located with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The pistol was located next to V1, who was lying on a bed.

CID and Crime Scene were notified and responded to the scene.There were no apparent signs of foul play.

V1 called law enforcement after a physical altercation with D1. Deputies located both parties and conducted their investigation, which led to the arrest of D1. D1 had a prior battery conviction so the charges were enhanced.

D1 was observed multiple times on the front porch of V1's residence. V1 later observed from cameras what he believed to be someone inside of the residence and contacted law enforcement.

Upon deputies' arrival, deputies contacted D1 nearby, who matched the description. D1 admitted to entering V1's patio without permission and taking a gas can.

No entry was made to the inside of V1's residence. D1 was arrested for burglary and petit theft.

Marcos Pizza received a phone call to order a pizza. The caller, S1, was told there was a wait time for his order, which enraged S1. S1 began yelling at the employee, V1, then showed up in person.

S1 went to Marcos Pizza and became verbally aggressive with V1 before punching him in the face. S1 left the establishment and walked toward Walmart.

When V1 followed to obtain a description, S1 walked toward him and struck him a second time, causing V1 to fall and hit his head on the ground. V1 refused medical attention. S1 left on foot in an unknown direction.

The second battery was observed by W1. A pass-on affidavit was completed and placed in D2.

V1 and D1 were involved in an argument which turned physical. D1 reported the incident and deputies and went to speak with V1, who provided a different story. V1 had injuries consistent with his account of the story.

D1 was subsequently arrested for battery.

Crime Suppression Team deputies attempted a traffic stop on a vehicle near SR-44 and Hazen Rd. The vehicle fled west, crossing into Lake County but the driver was able to be identified as the registered owner.

LCSO was made aware of the vehicle and located it in their county where it fled from another traffic stop. The driver later fled from the vehicle on foot and was apprehended by an LCSO K-9.

CST deputies completed out-of-county arrest procedures for fleeing and eluding. LCSO added charges of fleeing, resisting and felon in possession of ammunition.

Assisted FHP with a vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash. It was a hit and run where the pedestrian was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

V-1 and D-1 are roommates and got into a verbal argument, which escalated into a physical altercation, when D-1 began striking V-1.

V-2 intervened, at which point D-1 threatened to kill V-2. D-1 retrieved a firearm and fired three rounds into the air then fled the scene in his vehicle.

W-1, W-2 and W-3 witnessed the incident. Deputies located spent shell casings on scene. V-1 was able to locate D-1 and deputies responded to that location, where contact was made with D-1.

D-1 was arrested, and his vehicle was inventoried and towed. D-1 refused to provide a statement or advise where the firearm was. A Temporary Risk Protection Order was completed and the Watch Commander was notified.
